Preparations for 2010 Exhibitions

I have started working on new large-scale canvasses for a major travelling exhibition in 2010. The new show will feature 12 x 2.5m canvasses and a new animated film projection.

40th Summer Show of South African Art

Three paintings were selected for the 40th Summer Show of South African Art @ The Strydom Gallery in George. Umtendwe Quiet (2008) from the Go-Betweens Collection and two new paintings: Southern Sky II and Moonrise (2008).

Exhibition @ Halcyon Financial Solutions

Schultz will be having a solo exhibition of painting and drawing @ the Official Opening of Halcyon Financial Solutions' new premises at 115 Western Avenue, Vincent, East London. Viewing times are 8.00am to 5.00pm , Monday to Friday, from the 27th November until the 22nd December 2008.

Reach for a Dream

Greg has donated a painting, 'Southern Sky II', oil, charcoal and paper on canvas, 59 x 42cm, for ' Reach for a Dream', where artwork will be on auction, the proceeds will go to children with terminal or life threatening diseases and have their dream fulfilled...

Watch the local press for details regarding the auction event happening @ the Ann Bryant Art Gallery on the 11th November 2008. Your support will be appreciated, especially by the children...

ABSA Bank Corporate Collection

ABSA Towers North Gallery in Johannesburg has recently aquired two artworks from Greg Schultz for their Corporate Collection.

The paintings are the 'Guardians of the Passage' (2008) and 'Morgan's Bay Cliffs IV' (2008) from the Go-Betweens Collection.

The artworks will be on display at the new ABSA Private Bank in Port Elizabeth.

Website Banner for Visitors, Abseilers, Quadbikers and "Eco" Challengers

I have erected a new bright red and white banner, with my web address on it, suspended between two gum trees, in full view of visitors, abseilers, quadbikers and "eco" challengers. For years visitors on top of the cliff have been looking down on my place, few knowing what the local artist has been doing in the Kwelera valley...

Solo Exhibition titled the 'Go-Betweens'@ the Albany Museum

My new solo exhibition titled the 'Go-Betweens' will feature  @ the 2008 South African National Arts Festival, at the Green Gallery in the Albany Museum, Somerset Street, Grahamstown. From the 26th June to 5 July.  Looking forward to seeing you there... 

The Go-Betweens will be published and available for viewing on this website after the exhibition, including painting, sculpture and a projection, which includes drawing and painting animation.
